Lyyon Technology Consulting Ltd can help owners, operators, and suppliers in the following areas:
- Prepare designs, plans, and specifications for technology systems including structured cabling, security, IPTV, guest room management and telephony.
- Provide operational designs and plans for audio visual systems to audio visual consultants or contractors who will undertake the technical design. If required, this technical design can be provided under the scope of an overall contract but this work will be undertaken by other consultants.
- Peer review technology designs for existing hotels and new projects.
- Site inspections of technology components of new hotel construction projects for owners, developers or hotel operators.
- Site inspections of operating hotels that an owner or operator wants to buy or take over, that requires expert advice and evaluation concerning any technology that may be missing in the operation or that needs upgrading.
- Advise on specifications and carry out tenders for the technologies as noted above on behalf of owners and operators. Recommend potential contractors, review contractor bids and make award recommendation as to most appropriate contractor for the project.
- Evaluate and provide operations analysis/audit of how well technologies are being implemented and utilized by hotel operators or owners.
- Help owners or operators negotiate technology agreements.
- Review existing technology agreements from a technical standpoint for owners or operators.
- Analyze technologies and business opportunities for prospective clients wanting to enter the hospitality space.
- Project manage technology implementations on behalf of the owner, operator or vendor.
